Sumana on ‘Edegarike’

Another promising young lady director Sumana Kitthur is ready to take up another film for direction. This time she is taking inputs for her third film from ‘Edegarike’ book written by Agni Sridhar. The title of the book written on the underworld days is retained by director Sumana Kitthur.

Making debut with ‘Slum Bala’ and then directing ‘Kallara Santhe’ director Sumana Kittur in a telephonic chat said she had developed an idea and present the script to censor board and then start the film is getting delayed. In that meantime she is taking up ‘Edegarike’ that pass on the stressing time of three underworld dons in which one is reformed.

In a way it is again ‘Aa Dinagalu’ (those days) the first venture that was based on the writings of Agni Sridhar.

Of the three under world don roles in ‘Edegarike’ Sumana Kittur has been selected Kishore for one of the roles.
